A motor vehicle garage company based at Ruiru is seeking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for managing the Sales & Marketing for the company by developing the company’s sales & marketing strategies
Promoting the company’s services.
Cordinating marketing research and studies, and development of market responsive services and ensuring that the set revenue targets are met.
Key Requirements
A bachelors degree certificate in Sales & Marketing.
Strong Marketing and Public Relation Skills.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Sales and Marketing Manager.
Basic Knowledge of financial management including budgeting.
Ability to build a strong working team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Management – Support the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan, business plans, and annual operating plans.
Develop sales & marketing strategies for the company including short and long term sales and marketing plans.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote the company’s services.
Management of Sales & Marketing Processes.
Participate in development and maintaining of pricing strategies, balancing the company’s objective and customer satisfaction.
Monitor the competition and advise the management of appropriate action to stay ahead.
Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate monthly SOPs for the Sales & Marketing Department.
Ensure the company achieves its sales revenue target and key performance outcome as detailed in the business plan.
Develop and execute a sales strategy in line with the corporate goals and vision.
Develop proposals to support new services by the company.
Market Trends and Developments.
Undertake market intelligence and advise management on issues that need their attention.
Carry out periodic marketing studies and research.
Monitor customer trends and habits and determine demand for service offered by the company and its competitors.
Synthesize lessons and experiences for continuous benchmarking and improvement of marketing strategies.
Communication, Public Relations and Customer Care.
Maintain good public relations and communication with clients and the general public.
Participate in forums and activities that promote the company and its services.
Develop Top Quality brand to make it attractive and the most sought after and friendly company in the industry.
Ensure that the company maintains proactive, dynamic and effective communication with clients on marketing issues at all times.
Handle customer complaints promptly and in due time.
Analyze customer feedback and advice the management on issues to be addressed.
